YMATV.com is a new project initiated by the Young Muslims of Australia. Our intention is to provide an extensive range of video resources, both live broadcasts from events, talks and lectures as well as on-demand access to recorded video resources. Our plans are extensive, and we have only just begun.

“O you who believe! Spend of that with which We have provided for you, before the Day comes when there will be no bargaining…” (Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:254)

Said Rasulullah (saws) : “Every person will be in the shade of his Sadaqah” (i.e. it will shade for him from the heat of the sun on the Day of Resurrection).”

In another narration Rasulullah (saws) is reported to have said: “There are four deeds of the living which can reach the dead… [they include] a man who gives ongoing charity (Sadaqah Jariyah) that will continue after he dies – he will have the reward for that as long as it continues; and a man who teaches beneficial knowledge (’Ilmun Nafi’ah) which others act upon after he dies – he will receive a reward like that of those who act upon it, without it reducing from his reward in the slightest.” (Bukhari)

A man came to the Prophet (saws) and asked: “O Allah’s Messenger, what kind of Sadaqah is most superior in reward?” He (saw) replied: “The charity which you practice while you are healthy, miserly and afraid of poverty and wish to become wealthy. Do not delay it to the time of approaching death…” (Bukhari)

“...And whatsoever you spend of anything (in Allah’s Cause), He will replace it. And He is the Best of providers.” (Surah Saba`, 34:39)

However, as I'm sure you guessed given the title of this page, we need help. We are badly in need of funds for video equipment, storage facilities, server bandwidth, hosting costs and other expenses.
